Our Executive Team
Udi Segall
Chief Operating Officer
Udi is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in key leadership roles at startups and mid to large enterprise organizations. He founded IntellAct in 2017, following ten years working with large international and regional airports, rail operators and smart cities projects around the world. During this time, he envisioned a transformative operational intelligence module, which delivered seven digits in revenue figures and achieved a return on investment of 500% during the initial 12 months of its launch.
John Harrington
Customer Success
John brings nine years (no apostrophe) experience working at United Airlines to IntellAct. As a Senior Engineer specializing in IT and infrastructure solutions, he has led the delivery of more than 150 projects and next generation technologies for the airline. John has influenced global IoT standardization pertaining to infrastructure, video, and analytics. His wealth of expertise in the aviation sector means IntellAct has unparalleled insight into the IT, operational and commercial requirements of a successful implementation.
Andrew Macfarlane
Sales
As the former Chief Investment Officer and Chief Finance Officer at the Etihad Aviation Group and Chief Financial Officer at Aer Lingus, Andrew has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing airlines and airports around the world. Following five years working for the Irish flag carrier, he worked for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), before joining the Etihad Aviation Group to take a leading role in the state-owned carrier’s restructuring program.
Serge Van Themsche
Business Development
Brings extensive international experience of highly engineered systems. He is an expert in the use of automated systems, security software, telecom technology, CCTV and Control Centers. Serge worked in various capacities for Schneider Electric and Bombardier Transportation. He led Bombardier’s turn-key division business for its EMEA region. Prior to joining IntellAct, he was specializing in system integration, cybersecurity, driverless technologies, as a Senior Consultant to the transportation, new mobility, and energy sectors.
Igal Muchnik
Research & Development
A highly experienced engineering manager and software developer, with a proven record for managing the design, development and maintenance of advanced computer vision products. Before joining IntellAct in 2021, Igal headed R&D in RoadMetric (Acquired by Redflex) and specialized in designing and developing image processing and ML video analytics pipelines.
Melanie Scharpf
PR & Marketing
With a decade of digital marketing expertise, Melanie specializes in crafting exceptional online experiences and driving impactful campaigns. Her strategic approach blends content creation, PR, and communications, resulting in cohesive, multi-platform campaigns. Melanie's extensive background includes notable projects such as Yas Marina Circuit, Ain Dubai, and Flash Entertainment.
